All Saints Day ( 1 November )

All Saints Day This is a festival of Christianity, today on November 1, the holy souls are honored, this festival is celebrated as the sanctity of saints. Hellomas, All Hallows Day This is the festival of all saints.

All Saints Day was earlier celebrated on 13 May but is now celebrated on 1 November.

Pop Beniface – lV dedicated it as a church in the Temple of Rome on 13 May 609. in honor of all the saints. From that day it was celebrated as All Saints Day.

This festival was first celebrated in Rome. In 837, Pop Dogri-lV ordered All Saints’ Day to be celebrated all over the world. Presently this festival is celebrated all over the world and the sanctity of the saints is respected.

All Saints Day is a day of holiness for Catholic Christians, a sacred practice to honor all martyrs and saints. In the Latin community, family members feast on the favourite delicious of the year deceased as well as visit the graves of the dead.

The significance of All Saints Day is to honour the saints and holy spirits.
